Okay students, we've just landed in the beautiful Capital city of Greece: Athens! Why don't you take a minute and explore:
Alright students! ​Don't fall behind. We've got lots to look at and many beautiful places to see.
The first on our list is The Acropolis of Athens. This is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance, the most famous being the Parthenon.

It's been a long day of walking and sight-seeing. But don't give up yet, the best is yet to come. Drink lots of water, it's hot outside!!
This is the Pnyx Archaeological Site where the first democratic discussions were had! This stone is where the speaker would stand.

Very close to the Pnyx site is this place - called the Prison of Socrates.

This place is called the Temple of Hephaestus. Notice the architecture and the beauty of this ancient ruin.
You are now looking at the Ancient Agora of Athens. The Agora's initial use was for a commercial, assembly, or residential gathering place. Just picture this place was once bustling with people coming and going.
Our final stop is the Ancient Olympic Panathenaic Stadium. This stadium has since been redone to accommodate the most recent Olympics that were held here in 2004. What has not changed is that this is the only stadium in the world made entirely of marble.
